AIIMS Raipur tops in cleanliness rankings, AIIMS patna at Number 3
Raipur / Patna: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Patna has been ranked third in the country in terms of cleanliness.
In a survey conducted by the Central Government on cleanliness, Raipur AIIMS got the first prize for the Hygiene and Effectiveness Control (HIC) Championship-2020. Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Science, Wardha, Maharashtra, came second.
The award was given at an event held in Puducherry.
In fact, hospitals across the country were surveyed about the best system for controlling infections in hospitals.
On January 31 and February 1, the Center’s rejuvenation team visited Patna AIIMS. All AIIMS of the country is awarded on the basis of ranking.
Dr. PK Singh, director of AIIMS Patna, said that the AIIMS team had launched a massive campaign for cleanliness.
A workshop of doctors along with nursing personnel was also organized in the medical team to create an infection-free hospital.
Earlier, the construction material used to be scattered in the hospital premises. Green areas were developed by planting trees and trees in those places.
