What happens when two candidates get the same marks in NEET result 2020?
In cases where two or more candidates have obtained the same score, tie-breaking criteria are applied to get inter-se-merit of All India Rank in NEET result 2020. NEET aspirants can check the tie-breaking criteria used in NEET merit list 2020 is listed below.
- Biology Marks: Aspirants who have scored higher in Biology will be preferred over others in NEET 2020 result.
- Chemistry Marks: If the above criteria do not work, then aspirants who have scored higher in Chemistry will be given preference.
- Less incorrect Marks: If the tie still persists, the candidate who has less number of incorrect answers in NEET 2020 will be given a higher order of merit compared to others.
- Age factor: If all the above criteria fails to resolve the tie, then the candidate who is older in age will be considered over others.
